The Mandara Testnet, Public Cross-Chain Transaction, and PingPong!

The month has been witnessing various events at Router; we first launched our Testnet Mandara! It is a significant step towards both Interoperability and Decentralisation. Developers are building their first-ever IDApps, and we’re also enabling external validators to participate in the network.

With the launch of the test network, we also did the world’s first public cross-chain transaction and showcased our aim to connect the visions of Satoshi and Vitalik. Besides, we decided to give our users a taste of interoperability with the Router’s new infrastructure. To do so, we have developed and launched our in-house IDApp (Interoperable Decentralised Application) called Ping Pong. We further deployed it to new chains, including Mantle, Doge, and Scroll and received an overwhelming response of more than 30k transactions. Amongst such big announcements, we have also engaged in some real-time conversations -

Router’s Networking Highlights and Recent Partnerships

Router made its presence felt at Prague Blockchain Week, with our CMO Ashutosh Sahoo and BizDev Olesia Deineka representing our team. We participated in discussions on deploying futuristic IDApps, shared insights on interoperability, and attended various conferences.

This time our networking also led us to conduct our first AMA in the Metaverse with Pariz Metaverse, where we discussed our ongoing IDAppathon, Router Protocol’s first interoperability hackathon. Sign up now! We have decided to extend the timeline for IDAppathon submissions by an additional two weeks. The new deadline for submitting your entries is set for 21:00 UTC on July 5th, 2023.

We also became part of some interesting conversations with platforms like Secure DApp, Fox Wallet, Bull Bear AI, DoraHacks, etc.,

Coming towards the partnerships, Router collaborated with various projects, including Navis, Fox Wallet, Bull Bear AI, Blockbank, and Riva Metaverse. One of our significant collaborations is with Mantle Network, a high-performance Ethereum Layer 2 network known for its modular architecture, high security, and low fees. Mantle Network has joined Router Protocol’s Testnet Mandara, strengthening our commitment to secure and cost-effective blockchain operations.

Navis, another partner of ours, will integrate Router’s Gen III Interoperability Infrastructure to enable cross-chain capabilities and unlock the potential of nanotechnology across different blockchains. Fox Wallet will integrate Router’s Voyager suite, facilitating seamless cross-chain token swaps and transfers for its users. Bull Bear AI has integrated Router’s Voyager widget, enabling cross-chain swaps and transfers for any token supported by Router Protocol.

Additionally, blockbank has listed $ROUTE on their DeFi Wallet, allowing users to manage their tokens seamlessly. We have also partnered with Web3travels to integrate Router Protocol’s cross-chain infrastructure into their travel modules, enhancing interoperability and improving the travel experience for blockchain enthusiasts.

Additional Updates

We recently made our IDAPPathon live, which provides a supportive environment for developers to express their ideas, experiment with cross-chain functionalities, and contribute to the advancement of the blockchain landscape. We have a prize pool of $15,000 available for the IDappathon. The winning teams will receive an exclusive opportunity to join our upcoming grants program, where each project can receive a grant of up to $200,000.
